Who We Are

Founding Partners

Spearheading our team is Erica Mason, Murdoch University Lecturer for Graphic Design and Academic Chair for Design Thinking and Service Innovation and Eko Pam, Murdoch University Lecturer for Spatial Design, Design Thinking and Service Innovation.

We know that our combined academic/practical experience and extensive breadth of knowledge in an emerging and powerful field of design, will contribute to revealing unforeseen insights and information. This will assist us in developing product and service systems from the core project problems and not the surface issues, which is common among many industries. Our deep research methods and creative techniques will produce customised concepts that will not only provide a project with innovative products and services but will elevate the roles and outlooks of the people who will drive those products and services in the future.

Our Collaborators

Darcy Burns

Darcy brings skills across both Service Design and Graphic Design to the Tandem team. Their approach to work is always human-centred and with an intersectional lens; driven by passion, curiosity, empathy, and a desire to leave the world a little better than they found it.

Georgia Earnshaw

Georgia specialises in Graphic Design and Strategic Communication. She is currently working as a Social Media and Digital Adviser. Georgia gets involved in various projects, contributing her skills and broad experience in both design and communication.

Nina Tomas

Nina specialises in Graphic Design, Strategic Communications, Design Thinking and Service Innovation. With various creative skills from digital to physical, Nina’s strong background of art feeds into her love for design. Nina currently works as a service designer for Tandem, taking on projects where she can constantly learn.
